The motorised roller blind will not stop at either the upper or lower limit when the blind is activated. Or the limit setting has shifted and is no longer stopping at the original position set when the motorised roller blinds were first installed.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

- A power interruption has caused the limit settings to be lost.

-Possible Repair Solution: Reseting of  Tubular Motors Limits.

-Motorised Roller Blind or the Tubular Motor has been removed then re-installed incorrectly.

-Possible Repair Solution: Re-Adjustment of limit settings

-Remote Control or Mechanical Limits have been tampered with.

Possible Repair Solution: Resetting of Tubular Motor Limits.

-Motor is about to fail

-Possible Repair Solution: Replace with new tubular blind motor.

MOTORISED ROLLER BLIND IS TRACKING CROOKED.

The motorised roller blind is travelling too far to the left or to the right when it is travelling back up to the upper limit.  Sometimes the fabric is tracking so far off the tube that it is rubbling against the roller blind brackets damaging the edge of the fabric.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

- Damaged, frayed, stretched or out of square roller blind fabric

-Possible Repair Solution: Packing of motorised blind tube with tape to adjust the tracking direction or possibly complete fabric replacement may be required.

-Insects such as Spiders, Flies, Moths, Etc......may have become squashed in between the fabric as the motorised roller blind rolls up.

-Possible Repair Solution: Clean insects from fabric, tube may require some packing if the fabric has become distorted.

-Electrical cable that powers the motor is rubbing against the motorised roller blind.

Possible Repair Solution: Tidy up the cables and keep them clear of the motorised roller blind.

-The motorised roller blind is rubbling against and object such as furniture, a handle etc causing it to track off centre.

-Possible Repair Solution: Identify any possible objects that may be touching or rubbing up against the blind and remove them.

-The motorised blinds tracking is being affected by turbulence or draft from heating, cooling or open windows and doors

-Possible Repair Solutions: Locate the source of turbulence and eliminate if possible or use deflectors.

-The motorised roller blind was installed incorrectly and out of level.

-Possible Repair Solution: Remove the roller blinds and re-install on a level plane.

BUZZING OR GRUMBLING SOUNDS COMING FROM MOTOR.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

- Motorised blind motor is faulty or about to fail.

-Possible Repair Solution: Replace the motor with a new tubular motor. This may also require a qualified electrician to rewire new inline connections for the new motor if they are different to the old blind motor.

MOTORISED ROLLER BLIND IS MAKING A CLUNKING OR KNOCKING SOUND

The motorised roller blind is making a knocking or clunking sound when travelling up or down.

POSSIBLE CAUSES:

-The motorised roller blind hardware components may be loose or damaged

-Possible Repair Solution: Try to listen from which part of the roller blind the noise is coming from. See if you can identify any loose part and re-tighten or replace if damaged.
